He was a relative of the victim.
In Aug 2024, he visited the girl’s house and lured her with a false promise and sexually assaulted the girl.
The convict promised to marry the girl.
Due to this, the pregnant girl gave birth to a baby boy, Special Prosecutor B Bharathkumar stated.
Later, a case was registered at Balehonnur police station.
