World Cup today: England take on Ghana as Tuchel’s team aim for last 32

England faces Ghana in a crucial top-of-the-table Group L clash at Boston Stadium, with both teams having secured three points from their opening fixtures. Thomas Tuchel’s England are aiming for a win to guarantee a spot in the Round of 32, despite winger Bukayo Saka's likely absence from the starting line-up due to an Achilles issue.

Ghana, boosted by the return of Thomas Partey, will look to build on their dramatic opening victory against Panama, which saw Caleb Yirenkyi score a 90th-minute winner.

In the other Group L fixture, Panama and Croatia, both seeking their first points after opening-day defeats, play at the Toronto Stadium, with Croatia being the heavy favourites to bounce back.

Group K sees Portugal, who drew 1-1 with DR Congo in their opener, take on debutants Uzbekistan at Houston Stadium; manager Roberto Martínez is under pressure to improve his side's attacking chemistry, with Cristiano Ronaldo likely to keep his place up front.

The final Group K match features group leaders Colombia against DR Congo at Estadio Guadalajara, Mexico, with DR Congo hoping to replicate the performance that earned them a point against Portugal.
