Kemi Badenoch described Andy Burnham as 'a pair of eyelashes and a black T-shirt' during Prime Minister's Questions.

Her comment was made while criticising the Labour party and its outgoing leader, Sir Keir Starmer.

Andy Burnham responded to Badenoch's remarks in a video posted hours later.

In the video, the MP for Makerfield wore a T-shirt and batted his eyelashes at the camera.

He clarified that his T-shirt was 'dark blue, actually'.
