Two men were injured when two BRTS buses they were driving collided inside the dedicated transport corridor in Memnagar on Tuesday. The accident took place at 12.45pm behind the Memnagar station, towards Valinath Chowk. Despite the swing gates being fully operational, the two buses crashed head-on.

Despite the swing gates being fully operational, the two buses crashed head-on. “The drivers were shifted to a medical facility and the control room was notified,” stated the civic body’s accident report.

Four trained marshals have already been stationed at the busy Panchvati and Panjrapol stretches to guide commuters through diversions and sudden blockades. “Marshals at roadworks sites and accident-prone areas will provide advance warning and guidance to drivers,” the civic body stated.
