Danny O’Donoghue made a live TV blunder after he thought that the show had cut to an advertisement break.
During an appearance on a daytime talk show in Manila, The Script frontman was due to perform the group’s 2008 hit “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved”.
Not realising that the show was currently on air, O’Donoghue appeared to slowly walk to the stage, before taking a sip from his water bottle and calling for his back-up singers.
He then asked the hosts if they were live, which they confirmed. “I thought you were going to go to a break,” he laughed.
Sharing the clip online, O’Donoghue, who placed the sound of crickets over the awkward moment, captioned the video: “Some laughs during press day in Manila.”
