SINGAPORE – Spider-Man is taking his web-slinging adventures beyond the big screen and into the skies.

Ahead of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the latest chapter in the superhero franchise, opening in Singapore on July 30, fans can get an early taste of Peter Parker’s world through a collaboration between Sony Pictures and Scoot.

From June 30 to Sept 13, two Scoot aircraft – an Airbus A321neo and a Boeing 787 Dreamliner – will be transformed into Spider-Man-themed planes, featuring cabin decals, special headrest covers and music inspired by the upcoming film.

Passengers can also receive exclusive Spider-Man: Brand New Day merchandise, including a flight tag or foldable eco bag with qualifying on-board purchases, subject to terms and conditions.

The superhero journey begins even before take-off, with Spider-Man installations at Scoot’s check-in counters at Changi Airport Terminal 1, creating a movie-inspired experience from the start of the trip.

The first themed flight will depart for Tokyo (Haneda) on June 30 aboard the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, followed by a flight to Chiang Mai on July 1 on the Airbus A321neo. The aircraft will later fly on selected routes across Australia, China, Japan, the Philippines and Thailand.

The planes will also serve other routes operated by these aircraft types. This means travellers who had not specifically booked flights on one of the rostered routes may find themselves aboard one of the limited-edition planes.

The themed flights are labelled on Scoot’s website, mobile app and WeChat Mini Program for booking. Visit www.flyscoot.com for updates and more information on the limited-time collaboration and scheduled flights.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks a new chapter for Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland).

Four years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Peter dedicates himself fully to being Spider-Man, while facing new challenges and a powerful new threat.

The film also stars Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon and Mark Ruffalo.
