Rio Ferdinand’s son Tate admits he ‘hated’ stepmum Kate

Rio Ferdinand's son, Tate, revealed on his stepmother Kate Ferdinand's 'Blended' podcast that he initially "hated" her.

Tate, 18, admitted he struggled to accept Kate following the death of his mother, Rebecca, from breast cancer in 2015.

He explained his initial feelings and actions stemmed from a "confused state of mind" and a sense of "loyalty" to his late mother.

Tate confessed to telling his father, Rio, lies about Kate when he was younger.

Kate Ferdinand recounted an instance where Tate falsely told Rio she was "meeting random men on the drive" after receiving a parcel.
