Patna: Religious institutions across the state have stepped in to assist aspirants and their guardians amid the ongoing heatwave during the NEET re-exam.
The Bihar State Religious Trust Board has directed temples, maths and dharamshalas near examination centres to provide free drinking water, roasted gram (chana) and jaggery.Board chairman Ranbir Nandan said the initiative aims to support students travelling long distances to appear for the exam.
In Patna, arrangements have been made near several centres, including Bapu Examination Complex, Miller High School, Patna Science College, Magadh Mahila College and Patna Women’s College.Separately, Mahavir Mandir near Patna Junction will serve chilled sattu drink from 7am on Sunday.
