Raut and rebel MP Patil trade abuses

Mumbai: A war of words broke out between Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut and recently-defected UBT Sena MP Sanjay Dina Patil on Tuesday over the matter of police security and free movement, with the two trading verbal abuses.

Patil crossed over to the Dy CM Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena on Monday.Reacting to certain remarks Raut had made against the rebel MPs, especially ‘Operation Tudwa (Beat Them Up),’ Patil said people like Raut must not bother him and “if he does so, I will enter their homes and hit them with a bomb.” Patil said if the Sena (UBT) sends anyone “to mess with” him, “they must get their medical and life insurance done.” “If someone comes at me, he will go to hospital or to the crematorium.”Raut in turn said that he was “daring to mess with Patil” and alleged that “one traitor was talking about guns, but the police were not doing anything.” Raut said Patil was roaming around with 50 bodyguards and police protection. “What guns are you showing us?
