Railways launches weekly Danapur-Pune Amrit Bharat Express

Patna: Close on the heels of the Darbhanga-Khatipura (Jaipur) Amrit Bharat Express, the railways has announced a new weekly Amrit Bharat Express between Danapur and Pune to meet rising passenger demand on the busy Bihar-Maharashtra corridor.East Central Railway (ECR) CPRO Saraswati Chandra said the service will commence from Pune on June 27 and provide a direct rail link between Bihar and Maharashtra via key junctions, easing congestion on one of the region’s most heavily used long-distance routes.“The introduction of the new service is aimed at easing passenger congestion on the heavily patronised Danapur–Pune route particularly during the summer rush when demand for long-distance travel remains high,” Saraswati said.The train will have 18 coaches and is expected to benefit migrant workers, students and other travellers.Saraswati said the launch reflects the railways’ continuing efforts to strengthen long-distance passenger services and expand the Amrit Bharat network across the country.You Can Also Check: Gold Rate in Patna | Silver Rate in Patna | Bank Holidays in Patna | Public Holidays in Patna | Patna AQI | Weather in Patna | Petrol Price in Patna | Diesel Price in Patna | CNG Price in Patna | LPG Price in PatnaStay updated with the latest Patna news.
