'Papa, Save Me': 10-Year-Old Abducted, Raped And Killed In Delhi; Chilling Details Emerge

A 10-year-old girl sleeping on a pavement with her family in South Delhi’s Mehrauli was allegedly abducted and murdered by a cab driver in a shocking case that unfolded early Tuesday. Police arrested the accused, a 29-year-old driver from Bihar’s Chhapra, within hours after tracking his movements using CCTV footage, GPS data and mobile location. The child was reportedly taken while her family was asleep, after which she was driven to a secluded area along the Gurugram-Faridabad Road, where she was allegedly assaulted and killed. Authorities said the accused continued working after the crime and was caught after dropping a passenger in Vikaspuri. He was later shot in the leg while allegedly attempting to escape custody. The victim’s family has since performed her last rites amid grief.
