Gumla: A panchayat sewak returning home from his son’s wedding was among the two persons killed when he lost control of his four-wheeler and crashed into a tree on the Palkot road early Saturday, police said.The deceased were identified as Kaleshwar Sahu (54), a resident of Longa village under Basia police station limits and posted as panchayat sewak of Chundari panchayat in Ghaghra block, and his Delhi-based relative Dinbandhu Sahu (52).“Kaleshwar was brought dead to Palkot CHC, while Dinbandhu succumbed on way to Rims, Ranchi.
The three injured are admitted at the Gumla Sadar Hospital,” Tarun Kumar, the officer in-charge of the Palkot police station, said.Stay updated with the latest Ranchi news.
