Bengaluru: Bengaluru West City Corporation (BWCC) suspended assistant revenue officer KS Manjula for allegedly issuing A-khatas to more than 50 properties in an unauthorised layout spread across four acres in Herohalli village, Bengaluru North taluk.
According to the suspension order, the property’s electronic property identification number (EPID) was illegally linked to that of another property while issuing the khatas.
The land was also the subject of litigation, with the city civil court having ordered that status quo be maintained.Manjula, who was serving in Herohalli sub-division, was suspended with immediate effect pending departmental inquiry.
