New police commissioners take charge in Tambaram and Avadi

Chennai: Tambaram and Avadi police commissionerates got new commissioners in a reshuffle of officials on Friday.

While additional director-general of police (ADGP) Prem Anand Sinha assumed charge in Tambaram, ADGP T Senthilkumar assumed charge as commissioner of Avadi on Saturday.Prem Anand Sinha succeeds ADGP Sanjaykumar, who had been posted there by the Election Commission ahead of the recent assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.
