The blaze reportedly started inside the institute building and spread rapidly, trapping occupants. Disturbing visuals showed people jumping from the first floor to escape as thick smoke and flames engulfed the premises. Fire brigade personnel, police and district officials rushed to the spot and evacuated those trapped.
