Jo Whiley says her father’s Parkinson’s disease feels like ‘Groundhog Day’

Jo Whiley has shared a "heartbreaking" update on her father Martin's battle with Parkinson's disease, describing it as like "Groundhog Day".

Speaking on her Dig It podcast with Zoe Ball, Whiley revealed her father's recent reluctance to take his medication.

Her father questioned if Parkinson's "just goes away," prompting Whiley to explain the incurable nature of the disease.

Whiley found it a "heartbreaking moment" to repeatedly clarify that his condition is permanent.

She highlighted the repetitive nature of their conversations, stating they have the "same conversations over and over again".
