JD Vance says wife Usha’s pregnancy is harder on her at 40

JD Vance has said that wife Usha’s pregancy is a lot harder on her at the age of 40.

The second lady is pregnant with her and her husband’s fourth child, which is due in July. She is the first second lady to have a baby, though other first ladies have had children while their husbands were in office.

Speaking about the pregnancy on the Relatable podcast with Allie Beth Stuckey, Mr Vance said that Usha was initially unsure about having a fourth child.

He said she told him that she doesn’t “want to be pregnant again with all the spotlight”.

“ She just turned 40, and so, like, it gets a little bit harder, right?”
