I have fulfilled my dream of having a home in Goa: Dharmesh

Actor-choreographer Dharmesh Yelande, who moved from Gujarat to Mumbai to pursue his dancing career, says Goa has become his perfect escape from the chaos of city life.

In a chat with Goa Times, he spoke about finding peace here and buying his dream home in Arambol. 'GOA IS MY ESCAPE' Talking about owning a home in Goa, he shares, “I now have a house in Goa, and I enjoy spending time here.

During the pandemic, I got stuck in a resort with a couple of my friends.

We couldn’t go out or do anything due to the lockdown.

I still remember how I survived for a week with just one set of clothes.

It made me realise that life should be this simple.

Even though I had just one pair of clothes and no outside access, I was still living my life comfortably.

At that time, I felt I should have a house of my own here.” He adds, “It was always a dream, and I fulfilled it.

I also hope to have a house in the mountains.

I will do that in future.” Dharmesh says he often heads to Goa whenever he wants a break. “I like living in Goa; it is peaceful.

Whenever I want to get away from the bustle of the city, I come here.

I attend some workshops here too.

    It is relaxing.

Sometimes, when my friends from the industry come to Goa, they make it a point to take me to parties, so I also enjoy that side of Goa with my friends.” A HIDDEN GEM IN ARAMBOL Speaking about his favourite place here, he shares, “In Arambol, where my house is, there is a place called Sweet Lake.

It is a private place now, but I am allowed to go there.

That is one of my go-to spots.

    It is beautiful.

If we hike further up, there is a mud bath too; it’s like a hidden gem, and I enjoy spending time at these places.”
