Kolkata: The Calcutta HC on Wednesday granted an interim stay on the FIR lodged against former MP Mimi Chakraborty based on a complaint filed by event organiser Tanay Shastri, who has also filed a Rs 20-lakh defamation suit against her.After a detailed hearing, Justice Kaushik Chanda granted the interim stay.Chakraborty had alleged that she was removed midway through her performance and filed a case accusing Shastri of harassment.
