Take-Two Interactive Software has announced that its highly anticipated title, Grand Theft Auto VI, will be priced at $79.99 and is scheduled for release on November 19.
GTA 6 is projected to be the world's largest video game launch, with expectations of generating billions of dollars in sales within days of its release, owing to the franchise's significant influence and Rockstar Games' proven success.
Pre-orders for the game will begin on June 25, as previously stated by Take-Two earlier in the month, following multiple delays in its development and announcement timeline.
A premium Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition will be available for $99.99, which includes exclusive in-game items such as vehicles, weapons, and apparel, integrated into the narrative featuring the game's protagonists, Jason and Lucia.
The price of the game in the UK, Europe or elsewhere in the world is yet to be formally announced by Take-Two, although sites like Eurogamer have reported that it could go as high as £100.
