    Dumka: Godda district police arrested a 32-year-old man from Bihar with a country-made firearm and ammunition during an anti-crime checking drive on Tuesday evening, it announced on Wednesday.Acting on a tip-off received by Godda SP Mukesh Kumar about a suspicious individual travelling on a blue bike from Meharma towards Balbadda allegedly to execute a crime, police constituted a team for raid.During checking between Doy and Amaur, ASI Mukteshwar Ram and his team spotted a bike but the rider tried to dodge.The accused was identified as Saddam Mansuri (32), a resident of Jallaha village under Sanokhar police station in Bihar’s Bhagalpur district.Ram said that during interrogation, Mansuri confessed that the weapon was to intimidate people to carry out theft and snatching incidents.
