Jaipur: A cabinet sub-committee Tuesday reviewed and granted in-principle approval to a series of land allocation proposals tied to education, health care, social welfare and urban infrastructure projects across Rajasthan, as the state govt moved to speed up delivery of public services and institutional development. The meeting, chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa at the secretariat, was attended by Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar, Education Minister Madan Dilawar, Social Justice Minister Avinash Gehlot and Urban Development Minister of State (independent charge) Jhabar Singh Kharra, along with senior officials.Officials said the committee carried out a detailed examination of land allotment cases received from multiple districts and discussed proposals involving educational institutions, health facilities, social welfare initiatives and public utility infrastructure.

Proposals linked to Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota and Udaipur were among those taken up for review. In addition to fresh allotment cases, the panel also considered requests for relief in penalties for industrial and trade organisations constructing institutional buildings.

The discussion included steps such as simplifying procedures, allowing payments in instalments and granting grace periods in eligible cases to facilitate timely completion of projects. The committee issued directions to accelerate disposal of pending applications under the Urban Services Campaign and ensure quicker distribution of pattas and other citizen-focused benefits, officials said.Urban taxation and user charges were also reviewed, with departments asked to prepare proposals aimed at creating a more transparent and practical taxation framework while ensuring compliance with eligibility norms.“The state govt is fully committed to strengthening education, health care, social development and urban infrastructure.

Timely decisions are being taken to ensure that public utility and institutional projects are implemented without unnecessary delays,” Bairwa said after the meeting. He said the objective was to expand access to better facilities through education, health care and infrastructure initiatives, while pushing overall development works across the state.

The committee also discussed cases seeking relaxation in reserve land rates for educational, institutional and public utility projects, agreeing that proposals serving larger public interest should be prioritised. You Can Also Check: Gold Rate in Jaipur | Silver Rate in Jaipur | Bank Holidays in Jaipur | Public Holidays in Jaipur | Jaipur AQI | Weather in Jaipur | Petrol Price in Jaipur | Diesel Price in Jaipur | CNG Price in Jaipur | LPG Price in JaipurStay updated with the latest Jaipur news.
