Two trains collided south of Bedford on Friday afternoon, 19 June, resulting in one fatality and over 80 injuries.
A passenger, Brett Byatt, expressed anger and shock the following morning, questioning why his train was not signalled and the loss of the driver's life.
The incident involved one train colliding into the rear of a stationary train on the same line shortly after 5pm.
The collision led to the death of a train driver and left more than 80 people injured.
Investigations are under way to determine the cause of the crash.
