The Bade Achhe Lagte Hain actor was present at the press conference of the show which took place on June 22 in Mumbai.
During the launch, he came face-to-face for the first with producer Ektaa Kapoor after their alleged fallout.For those unaware, Ram Kapoor and Ektaa Kapoor grabbed headlines last year after reports of an alleged fallout between the two surfaced on social media.
Ram hugged Ektaa on stage and later spoke about the rumours of their tiff.While speaking about the reports of his alleged fallout with Ektaa Kapoor, Ram Kapoor joked about how the issue had made headlines last year.
He said, “Pichle saal mein bahut charcha hui hai, bahut speculation hui hai ki Ektaa aur mere beech kya hua, right?" (Over the past year, there has been a lot of discussion and a lot of speculation about what happened between Ektaa and me, right? )."He further went on to say that people often speculate without knowing the full story, and Kapoor added, “Nobody knows for sure."While Ram did not reveal the main cause of their alleged rift, Ram added, "One thing everybody knows for sure, one fact, in 15 years, every time Ektaa and we have worked together, we have created magic, fact." He also revealed that one of the reasons for him agreeing to the show was his confidence that it would be successful since he was collaborating with Ekta.He also put an end to the rumours of a fallout by warmly hugging and kissing Ektaa Kapoor as she came on stage.

Ekta hit back strongly on social media, writing, “Unprofessional actors giving interviews about my shows should shut up.
False information and skewed stories can only last till I talk.
But there is dignity in silence."Ektaa also shared a video allegedly mocking Ram Kapoor's drastic weight loss.
She playfully referred to the show’s title by saying, “Humein bade hi acche lagte hain.”Ram Kapoor has worked with Ektaa Kapoor in shows like Kasamh Se, Ghar Ek Mandir and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain.
