Chennai witnessed an evening of music and community gathering on June 14 as musical duo Prachi and Raghav, popularly known as The Backstage Siblings, performed at RK Convention Centre.According to the organisers, Shree Agarwal Samaj (Madras), the event was designed as an interactive musical experience, encouraging audience participation alongside live performances.
Throughout the evening, the duo combined devotional numbers, Bollywood favourites and contemporary songs, with many members of the audience joining in.Prachi and Raghav, who have built a following through their communitydriven musical gatherings, engaged with the audience through a mix of music, conversations and singalongs, they share.
The organisers say the format was aimed at creating a shared experience that could appeal to people across age groups.“The repertoire included devotional tracks such as Achyutam Keshavam , Ram Ram Jai Raja Ram , Ram Krishna Jam and Hanuman Chalisa , alongside popular film songs.
Renditions of numbers such as Kanmani Anbodu , Ilahi and several Bollywood favourites drew enthusiastic responses from the crowd,” they add.Families, friends and music enthusiasts were among those present at the venue.
