Lucknow: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University has asked students of the 2025–26 academic session to verify and update their personal details on the university’s portal for hassle-free delivery of their degrees at their doorsteps.University officials said degree certificates of students who completed their programmes in the previous session were dispatched to their registered addresses through India Post’s Speed Post service.
However, a significant number of certificates were returned due to incomplete residential addresses and incorrect Hindi names submitted by students.Officials said several certificates also had to be reissued after students sought corrections in the spelling of their names.
To address the issue, the university has enabled a facility for students and affiliated institutions to update relevant details through their respective ERP logins.Meanwhile, preparations are underway for the university’s 24th convocation ceremony, scheduled to be held on July 7.“We have a capacity of around 2,000 people for the convocation ceremony.
Registration will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Eligible candidates are required to complete online registration and pay the prescribed fee.
