Garhwa: The body of a 13-year-old schoolgirl, who was missing since Thursday, has been recovered from a pond at Sukhbana village under Sadar police station limits of Garhwa district on Saturday.The deceased was identified as Khushboo Kumari, a native of Daleli village under Meral police station limits and resident of Sukhbana village.
She was a student of Shaligram Agrawal Middle School located in Garhwa town.On Saturday morning, people saw her body floating in a pond.
Her scarf was found around her neck from which it is suspected that she was murdered before dumping her in the pond.Police are trying to find out that with whom the girl was in contact and where she had gone. “The body was sent to Garhwa sadar hospital for post-mortem examination.
